Restore From Backup

There may come a time when your data becomes corrupted, or is lost as the result of computer malfunctions or server crashes. If you have signed up for remote backup service, your data will be backed up and archived on the Navigator Systems remote servers, and you will be able to restore your data from a backup stored there.
To restore your data from the Navigator Systems remote servers:
Enter your Username, your Password and if you encrypted your data you will need to enter your encryption password. These values are not saved and will need to be entered each time you restore from backup. You should also check
to insure that no tables are locked during the restore which could cause an incomplete restore.
Press the
button and you will be connected to the remote server. The display will show the current backup of your data. Simply check which of your backed up data you wish to restore.
Choose the location of where the data is to be restored. If you wish to restore your data to where it was originally backed up, then choose
. To view the location of where your data will be restored, choose the + symbol to expand the branch.
Once you have selected your data to be restored, press the
button and your data will be restored.
If you wish to restore your data to a different location, select
and then choose where you wish to restore your data. It is a good idea to occasionally restore your data to a different location on your system and test your backup to ensure that your backups are functioning properly.
