View a Customer's Financial History

It is possible to see the complete financial history of a customer, including invoices, payments, deposits and refunds. This can be helpful when determining if a customer requires will require a security deposit. You may access this information from either the Deposit, ID, & Financials edit box on the Job Header form or from an Invoice by selecting the View Deposit button

The financial history grid has an Allocated Payments column which displays data for Payments Taken and Invoices Raised. If you click the + sign against the sum in question an embedded grid that shows the details for the invoices paid by the payment (if a Payments Taken is selected) or the details for payments made (if an Invoice Raised is selected).

The Status/Action column, as well as letting you know the status of a transaction also allows you to allocate invoices to payments if you click in the field next to the word Allocate...

This will automatically take you to the Receive Money page and fill in the details of the Payment Taken transaction for you.



Finally, reports can be printed from this page by selecting the Print & Close button. Once the any report previews you will have some choices on what action to take next:

PrintThis button will take you to the print dialogue box which will then print the invoice to your printer.  
 
Copy   This button will copy the contents of the invoice to the clipboard, which will allow you to paste the contents into other applications.  
 
E-mail   This button will open the e-mail dialogue which allows you to send the invoice as an attached pdf document or other formats.  
 
Export   This button will open the document export dialogue box, which will allow to export the contents of the invoice into other formats such as rich text format (rtf), HTML, Excel, PDF, JPG, GIF or BMP.
