Upgrades (Toolbox version 1x)

The Toolbox should be uninstalled from each workstation using the Add/Remove Programmes option from the Windows Control Panel. It is very important that this is done because the original installation of the Toolbox used a configuration of WinInstaller that will automatically "repair" itself if it finds a different (even newer) version of it and your newly installed programme will get "downgraded" by the original installer.  
 
Once uninstalled you only need to perform the Program Install (Each Workstation), since the database files and reports will already be on your server. You will be able to choose which tools you wish to install on each PC.  

New Installations

First perform the Data Files and Reports Install for the server. You will need to perform this for each separate Eclipse database that you have set up on your server. Then the Program Install (Each Workstation). You will be able to choose which tools you wish to install on each PC.  
 

Special Considerations

Some customers may already have some programmes that were not part of the original Toolbox suite but which need slight special treatment if being upgraded. These are:  
 
·Report Master. The local database file that stores all of your report entries will need to be manually upgrade by Navigator Systems. This file is called Rpt_Sched.FF2, and you will need to send it to support@navigator.co.uk so that we can fix up the data for you.  
·Eclipse Reconciler Service. See this link for more information.
