This utility allows you to quickly increase (or decrease) the Daily Rates of your equipment, including the Extended Daily Rates that were introduced in Eclipse 2.2 . You can filter on a specific category or all equipment (hit Backspace to clear the category). One currency band at a time is processed.

There are two modes for marking up or down:

·Percentage Mode - uses a percentage rate to calculate the final result
·Exchange Rate Mode - uses a straight multiplier to calculate the final result

The programme supports an advanced "rounding" facility (round to the nearest X if change is > than Y) that needs explaining:

If you wish to increase your prices by 10% then it is likely that you will want to round up unpleasant outcomes. For example, $15.00 becomes $16.50. Here if you round up to the nearest decimal then you will get $17.00. But what about $120.00? This would become $132.00 and you might like to round this figure up to the nearest $5.00. However, if this is so then you would need some criteria to specify at what point you begin to round up to the nearest $5.00. Hence we might say "round to the nearest $5.00 if change is > $5.00. That way we round up decimals so that $15.00 becomes $17.00 AND we can round up $120.00 becomes $135.00.

The programme also allows you to enter new Daily Rates directly if you wish.
