This programme allow you to tidy up your equipment book in Eclipse where you have more than one kit entry for the same thing. Say, for example, you have "Shure SM57 Mic" and "Microphone, Shure SM57". You will probably have booked both of these out on jobs and your availability checking is going to be confused. By using Types_reset.exe you can re-assign "Shure SM57 Mic" to "Microphone, Shure SM57" and update all your job history, audit trail etc and then remove "Shure SM57 Mic"from the database.

Instructions

1.	On opening the programme you will see all your kit in alphabetical order in a grid on the left hand side. You select which Type you want to convert.

2.	Now pick the Type that you want to assign to from the dropdown combobox on the right.

3.	Specify whether you are a Sales Book user or not

4.	Run the update.

IMPORTANT. Once you have made your all your changes you will need to open Equipment Book in Eclipse and run the "Verify Stock" option so that your equipment levels are updated.
