The device allows the operator to scan barcodes on or off equipment lists without requiring a permanent connection to the users HireTrack Eclipse PC.
Using the MC50 with Eclipse requires a couple of simple steps:
1. The user prints out a picking/prep sheet from Eclipse.
2. The user reads the equipment list number from the printed list and enters it into the MC50 device.
3. The user selects whether they are scanning equipment on or off the list.
4. The user wanders around the warehouse, prep's the equipment and then scans the barcode with the MC50 device.
5. When the user has finished working they return to their PC, place the MC50 in the charging/USB cradle and synchronise the MC50 with HireTrack Eclipse.
This updates Eclipse with all the equipment movements.
Through the use of the Multiple Scanner application, several MC50 devices may be synchronised with one HireTrack Eclipse PC.
