To save time for the person doing the picking the palm reference number can be printed on the equipment list.
This can be printed by installing a barcode font such as the 3 of 9 font which can be found as freeware on the internet and using crystal reports,
place the palm ID on the report and set the field to the barcode font.

The field to insert into the report is EQLISTS.Eql_no
If the scanner goes completely flat, a new partnership will have to be set up between the PC and the MC50/70.
This means completely reinstalling everything onto the MC50.
The device will last several days in standby mode however it is best to get in the habit of leaving the symbol in its cradle.
