A partnership has to be set up to allow the MC50/70 to exchange data with the computer.
Connect the cradle to the USB port on your computer and place the MC50/70 into the cradle.
The Windows Synchronisation software will detect a new partner. The procedure is the same whichever Microsoft synchronisation software you are useing.
Under Windows Vista the Software doesn't automatically detect a new partner, so select the 'Setup my Device' option.
select 'Standard Partnership'
Select 'Synchronize with this desktop computer
Select 'No I want to synchronize with two computers'
clear all the checkboxes and then put a check mark against 'Files'
Click 'OK' to the dialog box.
The device will now Synchronise.
