The Warehouse Book is used for a variety of functions, including checking out equipment to customers and checking back in equipment from orders. The Warehouse Book can access only equipment lists and subhires with a status of confirmed and higher. The warehouse book is also used to access the maintenance records of barcoded items, and to scan back barcoded items from any equipment list.
To access the Warehouse Book:

The default date range is set 7 days prior to today's date To 7 days after today's date. This date range may be changed, and it will display all of the equipment lists and subhires in that date range which have a status of confirmed and higher. The user also may sort the list by any of the choices in the Sort by window.
Multi-site users: If you have been granted access, you may change the site display of the equipment lists to view and access equipment lists from other warehouses.
To open an equipment list or subhire, select the equipment list and press the
Open folder.
Manual Return:
Located in the bottom right had corner of the Warehouse Book is the Manual Return Window. This feature allows warehouse book users to scan barcodes to return them from the equipment list to which it has been checked out. Simply scan the barcode or type the number and press the return key. HireTrack will look up the equipment list to which the barcode has been scanned and will automatically return it.
