The Preferred Supplier is stored information and may be used as a preferred supplier for subhire or for purchase depending on your specific needs. The supplier's name is taken from the list of companies entered into the Address Book.

A Default Nominal Code may be defined for each type of equipment. These nominal codes are setup in the accounts book on the setup page. Once a nominal code is set for a type, this nominal code will appear on invoices when either the quick invoice function or the Invoice Wizard is utilized.
A Depreciation Style and Depreciation Period may be defined for each type of equipment. The depreciation styles are setup in the accounts book on the setup page. Utilizing this information will make it easier for the creation of depreciation schedules for your equipment.

The data entered in the User Info field appears in the header of the popstock window on an equipment list as shown. This is useful to assist staff with extra critical information when an equipment list is being created.

Key Equipment is defined as equipment that is utilised consistently. In order to aid the creators of an equipment list, a list of this key equipment may be defined here. Click Here for more information

The User Filters are extra Boolean fields (true/false), which are utilised in the creation of custom reports. These fields may be checked for a value of true or unchecked for a value of false. An example would be if you decide you wish to suppress selected types from quotes. You could check User Filter 1, and then create your report to suppress all types where user filter 1 is suppressed.

The Notes or Long Description is used to store extra information about your equipment. This field may also be used as an alternate description for custom reports.
