Every time you add stock or remove stock from your inventory through the Stock In and Stock Out pages, there is an entry made into an audit trail. This audit trail provides the records of why you own the quantities that you own and may be required by your accountant. Access to this audit trail is stored in the stock edit page.

It is critical that access to this page be restricted to only key personnel. Altering the information stored in the audit can prove costly, and provide a method for fraud to take place.

This process may take several minutes depending on the number of entries and the number of types of equipment.
