The Setup tab is used to configure almost all of the financial information to be entered into the HireTrack System. Some settings will need to be configured before they can be assigned to customers, and these settings are set on the sub tabs of the setup page.

Your accounting information must be setup before you can assign it to a company, and a company must be created in the Address Book before you can assign accounting information. This information includes:
·default trading terms (purchase & billing)  
·insurance information  
·usual discounts  
·tax codes  

There are 6 sub tabs located on the main setup page.
·Companies is used to configure default accounting information for each company that has been added to the companies address book.  
·Individuals is used to configure default invoice & purchasing information for each person that has been added to the people address book.  
·Nominal Codes is used to create your nominal codes used by invoicing and purchase orders  
·Tax Codes is used to create the tax codes and rates used by your company.  
·Trading Info is used create the terms which will be assigned to companies and to people.  
·Depreciation is where you can setup depreciation styles, which are assigned to equipment types.
