There are many places to store notes in HireTrack Eclipse. The easiest place to write down quick notes about the Job is the Notes Tab.

Simply begin typing your notes in the text window. If you need to place a time stamp as to when this note was taken, then press c + D and the current date followed by the time will be entered.

Located on the notes tab is an overview of the financial totals for the Job. The figures represent the equipment list totals categorized by the status of the equipment list. The Crew and Transport represents the totals of all crew and transport, regardless of the status of the Job. The Grand Total represents the subtotal of the equipment lists in a particular status, plus crew and transport. The crew and transport are only added to the status of the job.

The Refresh After Scroll button should only be checked if you wish to update the information in these fields dynamically as you scroll through the jobs while on the Notes page. Turning off this function simply improves speed and response as you scroll through your jobs.

The Refresh Before Print button should be checked only if you are printing reports with this information. When a job is accessed, the information is calculated and written to a database, which is then used to print on a report. If this function is not chosen, then there is the risk that information on the screen will not match the report because the data in the database has not been updated.
