The Multi-Edit function allows a user to select several items/barcodes and make changes to several different fields at the same time. The fields that may be changed are:
This is useful when you are creating new types and want to reassign many different items to the new type, or you wish to enter additional financial information for the items.
NOTE: Great care must be taken when using the Multi-Edit function as there is no cancel or undo function.
To Use the Multi-edit function, click on the multi-edit tab on the items page of the equipment book.
Select the barcodes you wish to change by right clicking the selected barcodes. You can use the search and filter functions to locate the barcodes you want to change.
You can right click to unselect a barcode. To clear all the barcodes your have selected, press the "Clear Selection" Button.
Once you have selected your barcodes make the changes you desire, and press the "Apply Changes" button.
