The Locations function in HireTrack is different depending on whether your system is configured for single site (warehouse) or multi-site (warehouse) usage. Locations can be assigned to types and to items.

Single Site Users:
The locations function refers to specific locations in your warehouse. This could be a shelf or rack number or an area of the warehouse. For types, this is where this equipment is generally located, however for items, this specific item could be stored in a different location than the types of equipment.

Multi-Site Users:
The location function in the equipment book refers to the specific warehouse or office or city. This function is inoperative in the equipment book, and the locations are configured in the multi-site book
