Handling Equipment in Receiving Site
Top  Previous  Next

Once equipment has been requested from an another site, it is then shipped from that site, and it must be recieved into your site before it can become available. You can see all of your incoming job transfers and their status in the Needs window of the Job Transfers Book.
To access the Job transfer window, click on Job Transfer Book in the Multi-site Navigator:

This will open the Job Transfer window:

The Needs Tab displays all of the equipment that will need to be shipped to your location. The Origination site will show the same information on the Loans tab so as to know what to ship to other sites.

·You may set a date range to view all the transfers in a specific time range.
·Selecting a status from the status window and selecting the status filter will display only the equipment in the selected status.
·To hide composite components, select the Hide Components filter

From this window, by clicking on the equipment list header, the user may open the list to examine it.

By clicking on the printer icon, you can then print reports related to that equipment list.

Once the order has been recieved, the user should change the status from Dispatched to Received. If all units are received together, then select the status from the header:

This will then indicate the equipment has been received, and the equipment is then available to be used on this specific equipment list. If the equipment is recieved at different times, the status of the equipment can be changed on a line by line basis.

NOTE: Equipment availability is calculated by the out and back dates of the equipment list, plus the transport times. Changing the status of the Job Transfer does not impact availability of equipment, it simply a method of keeping track of the status of your equipment.

To assist the receiving site, it is usually a good idea to enter your shipping information. To set the same shipping information for all sites:

Once the equipment has been used, it must be returned to the origin site (unless it is being kept).

You will then need to overwrite the existing shipping information with the new shipping details. Shipping details are not stored each time shipping occurs.
