Finding a Job

Locating an existing job is a very easy process in HireTrack using a variety of methods to search for your job. The tools for locating an existing job are located in the toolbar of the Job Book.

Search by Job Reference - If you know the Job Reference Number, simply enter the Job Number into the Quick Job Search Window, and HireTrack will immediately locate that job and display it in your Job Book.

Search by Users Last 5 Jobs Accessed- HireTrack will automatically keep track of each user's last 5 jobs accessed. This makes it easy to switch between recently accessed jobs and not have to find the same job repeatedly. Simply select the job from the Drop Down Menu and HireTrack will immediately locate that job and display it in your Job Book. This information will not update if you search jobs using the Previous/Next Job function.

Job Navigator - The Job Navigator is the most powerful tool for locating a specific job. It displays a list of all Jobs that have been entered into HireTrack and provides filters which allow the user to display only the desired information. To access the Job Navigator, press the Job Navigator icon.

The Job Navigator has 2 modes of operation. The most common mode is Filter mode to remove unwanted records. The Find mode will scroll to the Navigator to the Job, however the find mode will only function with the Job Ref and the Job Title.

Located across the top are a series of filters, which allow the user to quickly locate jobs. The Archive Filter is set by default to only display the jobs, which have not been archived as these jobs are not typically relevant to the user. After you have selected a filter, you must activate the filter by clicking on the checkbox next to the filter. The available filters are:

Once you have set filters for a specific list of Jobs, a Printer Icon is available with which you may print a list of your filtered jobs.
