There are times when special pricing may be required for specific types of companies (but not specifc companies). This is can be accomplished through the use of currencies B, C, & D. However, if these currencies are being utilized as separate currencies, then it becomes necessary to use the Extended Pricing function. This basically is a sub currency price scheme of a main currency.
To access the extended pricing function:
Select a type of equipment
Button:
Press the green + sign next to the currency you wish to create.
If no price mode has been created, you will need to first create a price mode by clicking on the price mode tab.
To create a new price mode:
Press the
Add New button.
Enter a description. If you make a mistake, press the
button.
Once completed, press the
button.
If you wish to copy this Price Mode Description to the other currencies, press the
button.
Once the Price Modes have been created, you are now ready to add rates and price schemes
Enter a new rate for each Price Mode, and select a Price Scheme from the drop down window. Then press the Save & Close button.
NOTE: If an equipment type has no extended price configured, then the price will fall back to the main currency price.
These new extended price modes are now available from Price Grp drop down window in the equipment list of the Job Book as shown here:
