When it comes time to ship the equipment to the destination site, the status of the line must be set to Dispatched to indicate the equipment has been shipped. Setting the status to Dispatched will remove the equipment from the availability of the source site, however it will not appear in the availability of the destination site until it is received. See Receiving Equipment into Destination Site for more information.
To Dispatch the equipment, simply set the status to dispatched. If you wish to specify barcodes, scan the barcode while Send out radio button is selected, or open the barcode column and select the barcode you wish to send.
As part of dispatching equipment, you may wish to add shipping information to your order. To add the shipping information, you may enter the information on a line by line basis or you can select several lines and select the shipping information in the header:
After you have entered your shipping notes, press the button and the notes are added to each line.
