HireTrack Eclipse includes a daily diary of events occurring company wide. However, within a job, you may need to schedule an event that is not related to a particular equipment list or any crew or transport. This could be for events like sight reconnaissance, or billing events. These miscellaneous job dates are entered on the Diary tab of the Job Book.
To create an event, which will appear in the diary, and is related to your specific job:
1. icon: Job
2. tab: Diary
3. button:
Add New
4. Enter your dates and your event type.
5. Enter a description of the event.
6. button: Update
If you want to add a new event type to the diary, right click any of the columns.
Press the New button and enter your new Event Type. Then press the Save button. This new type will now appear in the type drop down window. This information will also appear in the daily diary book.
