Availability Calculations

The Availability column of the Equipment List shows how many pieces are available after deducting the quantity requested.
If you amend the quantity required in the Q column, the availability figures are updated when you move the cursor out of the line.
Where insufficient stock is available, the line is displayed in red.

If the availability becomes negative or increasingly negative since the quote was opened the lines will change to red bold. This is useful when changing the hire dates for instance, so you can immediately see any problems caused by extending the hire.
The Display buttons control the quantities shown in the Availability column of the Hire List.

HThe HPAv column shows availability by checking all equipment lists with status levels of 1) Provisional (HP), 2) Confirmed and 3) Active.
An Example would be:
Par Cans   Own   100
   Provisional (HP)   40
   Confirmed   10
   Active   20
   Available   30

CThe ConAv column shows availability by checking all equipment lists with status levels of 1) Confirmed and 2) Active.
An Example would be:
Par Cans   Own    100
   Confirmed   10
   Active   20
   Available   70

PThe PreAv column shows how many pieces are available for the 24 hours before the Date Out. It includes equipment on all jobs with status Provisional, Confirmed and Active.

OffTurns availability checking off. You can use it to speed up the system when first making up the Hire List. The system will display the Availability based on what was available when the current Equipment List was opened.
