Attachments are links to other files that have been created with other applications. Perhaps a customer has sent you an AutoCAD file with room layout for this job. Or maybe a lighting designer has sent you an WYSIWYG file with his or her lighting design. Virtually any file can be attached to a job, a company or a person.
Attachments can be made in the Job Book, in the Company Address Book, or the Persons Address Book. You may create an attachment with which all users can view this file provided they have the application installed on their local machine.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to a bug in Microsoft code, new documents created in Excel and Word will appear in the attachment window, not as a separate window. Since Microsoft has refused to correct this problem, we have had to make adjustments to our code. Simply save the attachment, then select another tab. When you return to the attach tab, the Word or Excel document will appear as an icon. Right click and choose open. This will open the program in it's own window.
